Tokyo confirms 22,740 new coronavirus cases

Tokyo confirmed 22,740 new cases of novel coronavirus infection on Sunday, a decrease of 3,573 from the same day in the previous week, according to the Tokyo metropolitan government.

It was the ninth consecutive day of week-on-week decreases.
